Nonprofits are now eligible for significant financial savings through incentives and rebates to lower their emissions. We encourage you to send someone to these 4 workshops to learn from experts about your options for solar, HVAC systems, lowering your electricity bill and installing EV chargers.
Part 1 in the Energy for Stewardship for Friends Institutions series (Tuesday October 10th) will give participants access to the Solar Schools and Nonprofits Toolkit, the most complete and up to date guide for those considering solar installations. The workshop will detail the new tax credits, grants, technical assistance and other incentives now available for all schools and nonprofits, thanks to the IRA. The Toolkit also contains a sample RFP you can adapt to your specific situation and two proformas which will enable you to run different scenarios, compare them and determine which is best for your organization.
The Toolkit was developed by the Philadelphia Solar Energy Association (PSEA), a local nonprofit dedicated to increasing the understanding and utilization of solar energy in Pennsylvania. Liz Robinson, a member of the Central Philadelphia Monthly Meeting (CPMM) and QAMAR, is the Executive Director of PSEA.
